Distinguished Service award
The Distinguished Genomics Forum Service Award highlights and recognizes the outstanding contributions of Genomics Forum members and leaders for their dedication, continual high-quality service, and exemplary efforts to the work of the Forum and American Public Health Association (APHA). Outstanding research award
The Outstanding Research Award honors and promotes outstanding research in genomics, including an improved understanding of the relevance and impact of genomics on public health. The nomination forms can be found here.
Public health genomics award
The Public Health Genomics Award honors outstanding research, teaching, practice, or services
in the public health genomics field. The applicant’s work must focus on genomics in public health, and the applicant should be an individual who has made significant contributions and a major impact on genomics in public health. The nomination forms can be found here​.
New investigator award
The New Investigator Award honors investigators starting out on their research journey. Presenters who submit abstracts may opt into consideration upon submission, with the highest scoring abstract winning the award.
New presenter award
The New Presenter Award honors first-time presenters. Presenters who submit abstracts may opt into consideration upon submission, with the highest scoring abstract winning the award.
Student award
The Student Award recognizes the importance of student contributions to the field and honors their work. Presenters who submit abstracts may opt into consideration upon submission, with the highest scoring abstract winning the award.
